The Roman Period and the site in Domagnano

These cases collect the remains found during the most recent archaeological excavations, in particular those from the site in Domagnano. From this area come the remains of an urban-rural villa dating back to the Republican Period, which was subsequently restructured and enlarged in the Imperial Period and which covered an area of more than 5,000 square meters, including built and green areas, as well as the remains of a Gothic building, partially using the rooms of the Roman settlement.

Another case shows the various typologies of bricks, tiles and pottery of the Roman Period produced in San Marino.
