This floor
displays a selection of donations – paintings, ceramics and
artistic objects, made to the Museum from 1865 till today.
Among the donations coming from the various
countries of Europe, a number of Medieval objects, including
some rare Limoges enamels, and a small collection of Byzantine
icons have been chosen to be put on display.

On show are also some 18th century paintings
coming from Latin America
(Room XI),
some 16th and 17th century paintings, wooden
and bronze sculptures.

Praiseworthy is the collection of European
majolica, with some pieces coming from Italian (Room X)
French and Dutch factories
(Room XI). |
