The room is dominated by a big
Portray of a gentleman (probably a member of the Pepoli
family from Bologna) by Tiburzio Passerotti (1596), one of the
last important paintings donated to the State Museum (1958).
Very interesting are also other
works in this room donated in the 19th and 20th centuries,
among which worth mentioning are the 16th century panel
paintings, once attributed to the Ghirlandaio, depicting
The Virgin with the Child and two angels and Saint
Sebastian, and the paintings belonging to the many
donations by Count Carlo De Bruch (1865).
Particularly
remarkable are also the two rare paintings on copper by
Aniello Falcone and the two wings of the small altar
portraying an Annunciation in the Perugian style.
