Besides a
collection of stone remains
(Room XIII),
the Museum also gathers some beautiful Egyptian
objects including some funerary statuettes or Ushabti,
bronze statuettes representing the divinities, amulets and a
rare collection of 23 Phials of St. Mena, which come
from various donations.
(Room XIV)
Particularly rich are also the collections of
vases: besides a considerable number of Cypriot ceramics, the
collection gathers Greek, Etruscan and Italiote vases with
black and red figures, mainly coming from Southern Italy, as
well as some Roman votive (Room XIV),
ornamental and commonly used objects and
ceramics (jars, vases, glass objects, oil lamps, necklaces,
fibula, etc.).
(Room XV)
A special small room displays a precious
collection of the most ancient coins minted by the State and
dating back to 1864, including unique items and minting
proofs, as well as collections of medals. (Room XVI)
